EWA at Offshore Experience

EWA is part of Offshore Experience 2024 on September 10th in Den Helder. For more information about the event, visit the Offshore Experience website.

As part of the program, EWA hosts a 45-minute masterclass, and EWA members are invited to present their innovations on the ‘Experiences floor’. We encourage our members to participate, preferably by showcasing a scale model of their technology. Masterclass: Offshore Energy from Water

EWA moderates a masterclass on energy from water as part of the Offshore Experience in Den Helder. This session will cover the latest developments in wave, tidal, and osmotic energy in the Netherlands, building on the TNO report commissioned by Wadddenfonds earlier this year.

We will discuss the role of these energy sources in the energy transition, highlighting how they can contribute to a sustainable, affordable, and reliable energy grid with predictable energy output. Additionally, we will explore opportunities in coastal regions and the potential for co-use in wind farms. This interactive session will be moderated by Erwin Meijboom and Maarten Berkhout.
