Consultation SDE++

EWA responds to the annual concept advice SDE++ Energy from water. This year the report was drawn up by TNO and DNV on behalf of PBL.

 

EWA advocates, among other things:

• updating key figures based on recent business cases from the sector.

• increasing full load hours of, among other things, conventional hydropower

• The avoided CO2 emissions (and thus the 'emission factor') for predictable sustainable electricity production, such as electricity from water, should be higher than those from less predictable sustainable sources

• better ranking of projects
